Access

Both public and authenticated users will be able to access datasets through the FEMS user interface. Available data will vary between public and authenticated users.

Public User Access:

RAWS Weather Data - Hourly observations for the most recent 2-week period and the 7-day forecast.

RAWS NFDRS Outputs - Hourly observations for the most recent 2-week period and the 7-day forecast.

National Fuel Moisture Data - Full Access to all historic observations.

Coded Words and Phrases (Acronyms) 

Interagency wildland fire and incident related acronyms, coded words and phrases.    

 

 

Unit Identifiers (Unit IDs)

The authoritative list of Unit Identifier codes used within the interagency incident management community to uniquely identify governmental or non-government units and recognized by NWCG as a wildland fire or all-risk cooperator.  

 

What is FEMS?

Who is a FEMS User Interface target audience?

A FEMS UI user is basically anyone interested in viewing real time fire danger information. Specifically, the target audience includes dispatchers, operational fire fighters, FMOs, agency supervisors, FBANs/LTANs, and Predictive Services.
